Terms of service
Last updated: 2026-10-19
RenewCanary is operated by the RenewCanary team (contact: madebybep@gmail.com). By using RenewCanary you agree to these terms.
The service
RenewCanary checks SSL certificate and domain registration expiry dates and emails you reminders. It is a best-effort monitoring aid. It doesn't renew anything for you, and checks can fail or be delayed, for example when a registry doesn't publish expiry data, a server blocks connections, or email is filtered. You remain responsible for renewing your certificates and domains.
Acceptable use
Only monitor domains you own or manage. Don't use the service to scan third parties at scale, overload systems, or get around rate limits.
Plans and billing
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed through Stripe. Applicable taxes are added at checkout. Cancel any time from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are at our discretion, unless the law requires them.
Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for losses from an expired certificate or domain, missed or late alerts, or downtime. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms and will notify account holders of material changes by email. Contact: madebybep@gmail.com.
